

Chef Bethany D. Markee
Chef Bethany Markee has over 28 years of experience in the restaurant industry. Professionally trained in a culinary school on the coast of Maine, she has brought together the depth of French cuisine from the east, and splashed it with the fun and vibrant traditions of the California coast.
Bethany truly has a passion for food, cooking and all that it brings to the table. She has discovered that what is most exciting is to talk with the client and really try to adapt meals and entrees that suit and inspire every person in a special way. Miss Markee has cooked for lots of rich and famous from Malibu to Boston. She has worked for many restaurants including California Pizza Kitchen, Tanglewood, Sodexho Marriott, Dargan's Corporation, Root 246 and Full of Life Flatbread.
She currently resides in Santa Ynez, California and is a school foods chef instructor for the Orfalea Foundation, and is the full time chef at the Solvang Elementary School's farm to school lunch tray cafeteria program.
